Lincomycin HCL is a lincosamide antibiotic that comes from the actinomyces Streptomyces lincolnensis. Lincomycin HCL Injection is indicated in the treatment of serious infections due to susceptible strains of streptococci, pneumococci, and staphylococci.

Lincomycin Hydrochloride is used for the treatment of sensitive Gram-positive bacteria. Lincomycin HCL is used especially for treating infectious diseases that are resistant to penicillin and sensitive to this product. Lincomycin Hydrochloride treats diseases such as swine dysentery, enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, swine erysipelas, red, yellow and white scour of piglets. In addition, it has antipyretic effects in pigs.
